Dale I. Reisen retired from the fire and EMS service in December 2020 after dedicating 38 years to the State of Florida Fire Service.  He retired at the rank of Battalion Chief in operations as a shift commander where he also supervised the fire investigative unit for Estero Fire Rescue for 23 years. 

He currently serves as the Operating Manager for Reisen Fire Consultants, LLC.

He is a Fire-Arson Investigator, certified by the State of Florida Fire Marshal's Office,

Bureau of Fire Standards and Training since 1996 and is certified under the new state standards for

fire investigators since 2018.  He is certified as a fire investigator from the National Board on

We are owned and operated by Dale I. Reisen, who is also the President/CEO of Reisen Safety Training and Staff Development, Inc., in Fort Myers, Florida.   

Reisen Fire Consultants, LLC, is a licensed private investigative firm in the

State of Florida that specializes in fire causation that offers our clients a fresh look or second opinion to a fire or explosion.

Our years of experience in this field has sometimes changed the direction of a case or helped to support the current outcome on civil litigation.

Since 2003, he has worked in the private industry as a fire and explosion investigator working on incendiary arson and product subrogation

cases for the firm EFI Global for 15 years as a senior fire investigator.  To date, Mr. Reisen has conducted over 1600 fire and explosion

investigations in Florida.  In 2001, he was awarded the State of Florida Fire Investigator of the Year and was recognized by

Governor Jeb Bush for his efforts in combating arson in Southwest, Florida. 

In 2013 and 2020, he was awarded the Lee County Fire Investigator of the Year by his peers on the Lee County Fire-Arson Task Force.  In 2000, he was one of the co-founders of the Lee County Fire-Arson Task Force and served as their Commander for 17 years.  Since his retirement in 2020,

the task force asked him to stay as a member and serve as their training chief along with supervising the

Lee County Youth Firesetters Program and the Line-of-Duty Death Investigative Team.
